Fox Network Cancels Planned Two-Part O.J. Interview, Gives In to Pressure from Domestic Violence Advocates, Station Affiliates

Reno, NV November 20th, 2006 – On November 27th and 29th the Fox television network had planned to air a two-part O.J. Simpson interview in conjunction with the November 30th release of his book “If I Did It” in which Simpson “hypothetically” describes how he could have carried out the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. On November 20th, News Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch announced that Fox stations would not, in fact, be airing what he called an “ill-considered project.”
