Thank You to Barrick!

On November 19, 2011 the Christmas Party Committee organized a gift drive for victims of domestic violence at the Barrick Shared Business Center. Employees brought an unwrapped household item. The gifts will be distributed to victims leaving their abusers and setting up safe, non-violent homes for themselves and their children.  CADV staff was overwhelmed by the response and the wonderful items that were donated. “Victims struggle daily to provide for their children the basic necessities and often go without things the rest of us take for granted. The generosity of the Barrick employees will not only bring smiles to their faces but tears, knowing there are people who care,” stated Yvette Waters, Executive Director.

On behalf of the victims and their children, CADV sends out a thank you to the Barrick employees and Jody Micheletti, Barrick contact person.
